12 Units of SCB13-1600kVA Dry-Type Transformers for a Medical Campus in Singapore
Project Overview
HBTP supplied 12 units of SCB13-1600/10 transformers for an integrated medical campus with hospital, research, and education facilities in Singapore. The project represents a significant deployment in the medical campus sector, requiring transformers engineered for reliable operation under demanding conditions.
Project Background
This integrated medical campus combines a 1,000-bed hospital, medical research laboratories, and a health sciences university. The campus targets Green Mark Platinum certification (Singapore's highest green building rating), requiring high-efficiency electrical infrastructure.
Customer Requirements
1600kVA SCB13 high-efficiency dry-type transformers, tropical climate rating, IoT smart monitoring sensors for predictive maintenance, compliance with Singapore Green Mark energy efficiency requirements, and F1 fire resistance for campus buildings.
Our Solution
HBTP supplied its SCB13-series transformers, engineered specifically for medical campus applications. The high-quality CRGO silicon steel core with step-lap mitered joints minimizes no-load losses, while copper windings provide enhanced short-circuit withstand capability and long service life.
